Sea Salt + Chocolate Hummus

  • 1 can or 2 cups chickpeas rinsed (pre-cooked)
  • 1/3 c cacao
  • 3 T pure maple syrup
  • 2 T coconut oil melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  1. In a food processor, blend all ingredients together until smooth.
  2. Add more maple for a sweeter flavor or more cacao for a richer chocolate flavor.
  3. Chill for about 30 minutes before serving.
  4. Garnish with mini chocolate chips if desired.
Recipe Notes

Do not over process this as it will dry it out and make the texture too thick. If your food processor is not the most reliable, you can process the chickpeas a bit to smooth them out and then add the rest.
