Cinnamon Pecan Overnight Oats

  • 1/2 cup rolled or steel cut oats regular or gluten free, NOT quick oats
  • 1/2-3/4 tsp cinnamon depending on how strong of a cinnamon flavor you desire
  • 1 tsp ground flax
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tsp maple or honey
  • 1 T crushed pecans
  • 1/2 cup milk of choice
  • Dash of sea salt
  • optional add in: 1 tsp chia seeds


  • Combine all ingredients in small jar or bowl that can be sealed. Stir well.
  • Refrigerate overnight. Serve heated or cold.


I like to eat my warm and usually will add a splash more of milk before I heat them up or I feel the oats dry up a bit.
