Peanut Butter Chocolate Crusted French Toast

Ingredients

  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ c milk (dairy free will work as well)
  • 1 T pure maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 6 slices thick cut bread
  • 1 c Peanut Butter + Cocoa Pebbles Cereal
  • chocolate chips and peanut butter to garnish ( if desired)

Instructions

  • Whisk together eggs and milk well. Add vanilla and maple. Whisk well.
  • Pour cereal into a medium bowl and set aside.
  • Heat griddle to medium. Dip each slice of bread into egg mixture and allow entire slice to coat, making sure to get the edges of the bread really well.
  • Roll the 4 edges of the bread in the cereal to cover. Place on lightly greased griddle and cook each side for about 3-4 minutes each side or until browned to your desired darkness.
  • Repeat with the rest of the bread and serve with extra cereal on top!
